How we write, source, and correct the pages on this site.

Trust isn't a marketing line for us — it's a process. This page documents how every article, scenario, area guide, and price on this site is researched, written, reviewed, and corrected. If you spot something we got wrong, tell us. We fix it, and we say so.

01 · Sourcing principles

Six standards, applied to every page.

These are not aspirations. They are the acceptance criteria a draft must meet before it goes live on this site. If a piece cannot meet one of these, it does not ship.

S01

Sourced, not asserted

Every price, schedule, regulation, or technical claim is backed by a primary source — manufacturer spec sheet, EPA documentation, county permit data, or a named first-party observation from one of our specialists. Generic "industry average" claims are not used in place of a citation.

S02

Locally verifiable

If a page mentions a road, garage level, security desk, or a specific pin on a parking deck, it must be verifiable on the ground. We drive or walk the route, take dated notes, and reference the visit in the page metadata. No guesses about access points, gate hours, or level layouts.

S03

Plain language first

The customer reading the page is often standing in a hot parking deck, tire flat, on the phone. We write for that person. Technical accuracy is non-negotiable, but we explain refrigerant cycles, EPA sections, and torque specs in plain English before any acronym.

S04

Two-reviewer minimum

Each page passes through one writer familiar with the topic and one reviewer outside the topic — typically a tire specialist reviewing an A/C page, or vice versa. The reviewer is named in the page footer. Single-author pages never ship.

S05

Pricing transparency

Tire and A/C pricing appear on the page exactly as they appear in the booking system. If the booking system updates a price, the page is queued for review within 72 hours. We never publish a price we don't honor on the phone.

S06

No unverifiable claims

If a fact can't be verified within the standard 14-day review window, the page either drops the claim or is held from publication. We do not use "studies show" without naming a study, and we do not imply third-party affiliation without written consent.

What we won't publish.

We will not publish review-gated discounts, countdown timers that reset, fake review counts, or claims about affiliations with Aventura Mall or any property where we are simply a permitted mobile vendor. Aventura Mall is referenced on this site as a service-area landmark — not as a partner, sponsor, or endorser.

02 · The fact-check process

From draft to live, in seven steps.

Every page follows the same workflow. The metadata generated along the way is published in the page footer so you can see who reviewed what, and when.

01

Brief

Writer is briefed on scope, audience (Aventura driver vs. fleet manager), and the specific questions the page must answer.

02

Draft

First draft written against the brief with inline source links, dated visits, and a draft fact-check signature block.

03

Specialist review

An in-house specialist verifies technical claims (EPA 608/609, refrigerant handling, torque, plug repairs) against current procedure.

n">04

Cross-review

A second reviewer outside the topic checks for clarity, voice, factual drift, and any implied affiliation claims.

05

Field verify

For location pages, the writer physically visits the address. Pins, level references, and access notes are updated if reality has changed.

06

Corrections queue

If any reviewer flags a fix, the page is held until the fix is in place. No silent overrides.

Pre-publish checklist

  • Every price matches the live booking token
  • Every location pin has been visited in the last 12 months
  • Every EPA reference cites a specific section (608 / 609)
  • Every tire service explicitly states spare/no-spare status
  • Every A/C page shows the refrigerant type (R-134a / R-1234yf)
  • Every linked page resolves to a 200 status
  • Every image carries a real or AI-labeled caption
  • Every page passes the 390 / 1280 mobile + desktop gate
03 · Corrections policy

When we get it wrong, we say so.

A corrections log isn't an admission of failure — it's the most useful proof of editorial integrity we can offer. Every material correction is logged here with the original claim, the correction, and the date it shipped.

Our four-correction commitment.

1. We acknowledge the error in plain language.
2. We explain how it happened.
3. We state the fix and ship it within 24 hours for safety or pricing issues, 14 days otherwise.
4. We keep the original wording visible in this log so you can audit the change yourself.

Recent corrections log

For the full archive, visit the corrections page.

Weekend A/C pricing phrasing

Original: "Weekend A/C packages are flat-priced." Correction: Weekend pricing applies Friday 5 PM through Sunday 11:59 PM, and holidays. Updated the pricing page and the A/C services page with the explicit window.

Aventura Mall reference

Original phrasing on the area page implied routine permitted access. Correction: We are a permitted mobile vendor, not a tenant or affiliate. Page /areas/aventura-mall was re-written to make the relationship clear and removed the phrase "our partner lot."

Plug repair +$10 wording

Original: "Plugs are an additional charge." Correction: "Plug repair is an additional $10 on top of the standard mobile tire service." The exact dollar figure now appears in every page that references a plug.

Sidewall puncture scenario

Original scenario said sidewall punctures are always repairable with a plug. Correction: sidewall punctures are not repairable per industry standard (the sidewall flexes under load). Page /scenarios/sidewall-puncture now states the no-repair policy up front.

04 · Reader feedback

If something here is wrong, tell us.

Every page on this site carries an "Email the desk" link in the footer. Reader tips drive more than half of our corrections — yours will too.

A

What to include

The page URL, the section you're referencing, what you believe is wrong, and (ideally) a source we can verify. Screenshots and photos help, especially for location details.

B

What we'll do

Within one business day we'll acknowledge receipt and tell you who's reviewing the report. Within 14 days we'll either publish a correction or explain why we believe the original claim holds.

C

Privacy

If you ask us not to publish your name in the corrections log, we won't. We never share your contact details with third parties — see our business info page.

D

Safety escalations

If your report involves a safety issue — a torque procedure, a refrigerant handling step, an access concern — the page is escalated to our specialist reviewer within four hours and held from edits until the fix ships.

05 · Common questions

Frequently asked, about our editorial process.

Who actually writes these pages?

Pages are drafted by writers who specialize in either mobile tire service, mobile A/C service, or local Aventura / North Miami-Dade logistics. Each page lists the writer and reviewer in the footer metadata. We do not use AI to fabricate field observations — every location detail is verified on foot.

How is this site different from a generic auto blog?

It isn't a blog. It's an operating manual for our service area. Every page exists because a customer, dispatcher, or specialist needed an answer to a specific question — "can you reach me on level 4 of the NE 199th St garage?" — and we wrote it down so the next customer gets the same answer.

Do you accept sponsored content or paid placements?

No. We do not run sponsored posts, banner placements, or paid links. The only commercial entity referenced on this site is Aventura Mobile Auto Care itself, and the only commercial relationships we describe are with our refrigerant supplier and our payment processor.

What about Illustrations?

Several diagrams on this site (the parking-deck motif, the level-picker card) are labeled "Illustration." Real job photos are captioned with the date and approximate location. We do not pass off illustrations as photos of completed work.

Where can I read the corrections history?

The full archive lives on the /about/corrections page. We keep every entry visible — including the original wording — so the trail is auditable.

Editorial accountability

If we don't fix it, you should stop reading.

Every page on this site is a promise. When the promise breaks, we publish the receipt. That's the whole job.
