Time, equipment, and refrigerant. Rescue runs 90–120 minutes on-site, requires the recovery tank and vacuum pump, and uses a meaningful amount of refrigerant to refill. Refresh is 45–60 minutes with a partial top-up. If you only need top-up, pay for top-up.
If we run the leak-down and the system won't hold vacuum, we stop before charging. You pay for the recovery and the diagnosis time (capped at the package price). We do not charge refrigerant for a system that won't hold it. The Fair-Play Gauge Guarantee is the safeguard for that scenario.
Usually yes — we recover what we can, deep-vacuum, and refill to OEM spec. Stop-leak residue sits in the condenser and can clog the orifice tube over time; we flag that on the receipt if we see it. If the receiver/drier is saturated, you'll know before the recharge.
No. The cabin A/C loop on a hybrid or EV uses the same refrigerant as a regular car and we can service it. The high-voltage battery chiller loop is a different system and a different problem — that's a dealer ticket.
Yes. The truck's recovery tank and vacuum pump are self-contained and run off the truck's power. We've done level-7 mall rescues and Turnberry tower rescues. If your building has a service-vehicle rule, share it before we roll.
$69.99. If we run the gauges and find a dead component (seized compressor, cracked condenser, electrical open) instead of a refrigerant problem, you get $20 back. We don't bill a $190 recharge to confirm the part that's actually broken.
